With the 4th of July holiday it’s time to think how to best capture firework on your iPod or iPhone. The latest iPod and iPhone have a build in 5 Mp camera, which isn’t bad.

But before you take this memorable fireworks pictures, let me give you some tips:

• First, the camera needs to be steady. Steady the iPod or iPhone on your lap, on a chair back, or on the roof of a car. If you have to hold it, it’s a good idea to take a deep breath and hold it in while you are shooting the fireworks. No, not for a long time!
• turn your HDR off. Firework bursts happen quickly, so you don’t want to slow your shots down with multiple exposures
• turn off the flash
• don’t use digital zoom. It will increases the noise and decreases the quality of your picture. Simply tap on the screen where the fireworks are, and the iPod or iPhone’s camera will focus on them

Don’t forget, the Ipod/ iPhone have also an excellent video camera.
